This average cost for LASIK surgery on each eye rose significantly in the years 2003, 2004 and 2005 before stabilizing in the year 2006. It is important to note some eye surgeons may charge more or less than this average value and care should be taken to select an eye surgeon who not only quotes an appealing ,but also has the experience and skill level to make the patient feel confident about the surgeon’s ability to perform the procedure successfully.
